CHEMICAL CLEANING
Chemical cleaning is a process that uses carefully selected chemicals to remove rust, scale, grease, and other unwanted deposits from industrial equipment and surfaces. It offers an efficient, non-invasive way to maintain system performance and extend equipment lifespan. This method is widely used in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, and water treatment and is performed under strict safety and environmental guidelines.
Pre Operation Cleaning
- Mainly to remove surface corrosion, suspended solids/silt/oil and grease
- Formation of passivation layer for corrosion protection
Post Operation Cleaning
- Mainly to remove scale/ corrosion/ microbiological foulant/ solids/ iron deposits/ hydrocarbon sludge
- Formation of passivation layer for corrosion protection (for CS heat exchangers)
PURPOSE OF CHEMICAL CLEANING
- To remove Contaminants from the system
- Corrosion Mitigation Plan
- Gain Operational efficiency
- Prevent unit failure during Operation
- Extend Equipment Lifetime
- An option for Mechanical Cleaning where access is limited
